THE NEED FOR TEEN TOUCH
For years the media has documented the break-up of family life. Schools are becoming unsafe. Many communities experience increased violence. Research in the United States and Canada shows that today’s youth are more anxious and isolated than they were 50 years ago. |

Each year over 11,000 calls are made to the telephone Helpline from kids all over Manitoba who feel alone and disconnected. We re-connect them to their families, friends, teachers and community resources. We believe this builds stronger, healthier individuals and communities.
TEEN TOUCH is a province-wide, grass-roots non-profit telephone and Internet helpline and community outreach program. Made in Manitoba, by Manitobans, for Manitobans, everybody in Manitoba benefits, directly or indirectly, from a focused program for troubled youth's parents, teachers, guidance counselors, clergy, other social service organizations and Helplines, businesses, and governments.
